Amsterdam Dance Event maintains title of world’s biggest electronic music festival following final lineup announcement.
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has revealed its full festival lineup for 2024, boasting over 1,000 events in more than 200 venues across five days and nights. With more than 3,000 artists set to perform, ADE 2024 cements its position as the world’s largest and most influential club-based festival and conference for electronic music.
The 5-day event kicks off with five official ADE Opening Concerts running from Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024. These unique performances will blend music, art, and culture in picturesque settings. Dutch artist Eefje de Visser will deliver an unplugged performance in the glass atrium of the Van Gogh Museum, offering visitors an intimate experience of her music. Nick Verstand & the Cello Octet Amsterdam will present “COCON II,” an audiovisual performance created specifically for ADE at DOOR OPEN SPACE.
Over at BIMHUIS, legendary free jazz vocalist Greetje Bijma will collaborate with left-field artist Oceanic, and producer LUXE will close the night with a live genre-defying performance. The Zuiderkerk will host “Philip Glass by Lavinia Meijer & Nikki Hock,” combining classical music with audiovisual artistry, while Melkweg will see Metropole Orkest join forces with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson for a tribute to J Dilla, celebrating 50 years of his legacy.
