The Berlin-based DJ and global dance music mainstay join forces on a bittersweet club anthem blending pop sensibilities with high-energy electronic production.
Marlon Hoffstadt and David Guetta have teamed up on “Caught Up,” a new collaboration that pairs Hoffstadt’s playful, rave-driven approach with Guetta’s polished dancefloor instincts. Released via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3, the track balances an infectious club pulse with a more bittersweet emotional core, reflecting on the lasting impact of past relationships and the lingering pull of what might have been. The end result brings a melodic, accessible edge to a collab that’s built for both festival crowds and late-night club sets.
“I grew up listening to David Guetta’s productions and have loved his music for as long as I can remember, so to now have a release together is absolutely mental. We made ‘Caught Up’ earlier this year, just before Ultra Miami, and I’ve been excited to put it out ever since.” – Marlon Hoffstadt
The release follows the pair’s first onstage link-up at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, where they previewed “Caught Up” ahead of its official debut. Both artists are also scheduled to perform at EDC Orlando this coming November. For Hoffstadt, the collaboration follows a breakout period that has included major festival appearances and the release of his album Das Ist Daddy, while Guetta continues his run as one of dance music’s most commercially successful acts, recently earning his sixth No. 1 spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll.
