DJ LIFE: Hazan Media Group Launches New Magazine

The Hazan Media Group (HMG), producers of the annual DJ Expo/DJX event in Atlantic City, along with the award-winning editorial team under Jim Tremayne, former Editor of DJ Times magazine, are excited to launch DJ LIFE – a digital magazine/platform that aligns with the current landscape of the DJ Marketplace.

DJ LIFE will truly reflect the maxim, “The Nexus of Everything DJ,” by expanding its coverage and creating content that reflects the compelling cultural influence, impact, buying power and evolution of the DJ Lifestyle community. DJ LIFE is designed to educate and inspire in a more diverse and timely way than any platform has.

“In addition to covering everything vital to the ever-evolving DJ culture – the club, mobile, and bedroom segments, plus the gear and more – DJ LIFE will expand its reach into festival, venue and lifestyle at the market level,” says DJ LIFE Editor-in-Chief Jim Tremayne. “Also, we’ll deliver timely, current and culturally relevant journalism via all avenues where people digest information… always highlighting the market’s explosive growth and the DJ’s cultural influence.”

Robin Hazan, Chairperson and COO of HMG, has been involved in the management of DJ Expo/DJX for nearly 32 years and remains deeply committed to the DJ community. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue working with Jim, with whom I’ve collaborated for more than three decades,” she says. “I will also maintain a commitment and continued investment in the DJ market. We will keep a clear focus on the future and on everything DJ.”

Shawn Hazan, President and CEO of HMG, sees a long-term strategy in play after nearly 30 years of integrated media experience. “I am really excited about the opportunities ahead,” he says. “A digital DJ/lifestyle magazine, in conjunction with America’s largest event in the DJ category, allows both DJX and DJ LIFE to effectively serve the ongoing needs of the DJ industry in real-time, 24/7, 365 days a year. There’s a series of developments we look to announce in the near future – all aligned with the strategic approach to evolve and collaborate with this truly close-knit community of talent and creatives.”

The Hazan Media Group (HMG) is a New York-based Multi-Channel Media Company serving the lifestyle communities. At HMG, our goal is to provide strategic solutions for our audiences by creating award-winning content, live experiences, video solutions and educational platforms.
