DJ LIFE took some time in 2023 to sit down with ACRAZE – the mastermind behind the explosive smash hit “Do It To It” alongside Cherish appeared as on our Magazine cover last June – and now, he’s just dropped his newest single, “Runny Nose.”
Available now through Thrive/Capitol, ACRAZE teamed up with Pickle & NKY on his latest collaborative track, “Runny Nose.” The release coincided with ACRAZE’s headline show at NYC’s Knockdown Center. As his first release of the year, “Runny Nose” follows ACRAZE’s string of 2023 singles – “In A Dream,” “The Otherside,” featuring Paige Cavell, “Take Me Away” and “Heard It Like This.” “Take Me Away” is nominated for Dance Song Of The Year at the 2024 Electronic Dance Music Awards, which will take place on March 22 during Miami Music Week.
“I honestly had the lyrics for ‘Runny Nose’ in my head for the longest time. One day I got sick, and I was like, let’s write it since it makes sense, haha,” recalls ACRAZE. “I started the record with NKY and then I sent it to Pickle, and I love what It turned out to be.”
ACRAZE topped Billboard’s Top New Dance/Electronic Artists 2022 year-end chart, and since releasing his smash “Do It To It,” has released more than a handful of festival and radio-ready dance anthems. ACRAZE’s 2024 world tour includes a new residency at The Wynn in Las Vegas and performances at numerous festivals – including the Hidden City, Breakaway and Project Glow in the U.S., EDC Mexico, Spring Break in Bimini, and S20 Festival in Bangkok.
