Berlin-based brothers, Leo and Rafa, better known to the electronic music world as TWO LANES, return with their newest single, “Mind.” The stunning ethereal track is taken from their forthcoming Innervision EP.
Expertly combining acoustic piano, analog synthesizers, and subtle rhythmic elements are what make up the sonic identity of TWO LANES. The duo, having become known for weaving deep emotional threads through their electronic music creations, continues to explore introspective themes on their new original. “Mind” is layered with soft, steady percussions, reflective energetic arpeggios, and soul-touching, echo-filled vocals. “Mind” is an enthrallingly somber, further enchanting their audience and preparing them for what’s to come on Innervision.
Having developed a passion for classical piano from a young age, Leo absorbed the complex compositions of JS Bach, Schumann, and Debussy. This dedication led him to The Juilliard School in New York City, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Historical Performance, focusing on period-authentic music interpretation. Rafael, conversely, was drawn towards the realm of electronic music, dedicating countless hours to sound design and digital music production.
The formation of TWO LANES was a seemingly natural progression of their combined talents, leading to widespread acclaim. Their unique sound has garnered them substantial radio support from prominent stations like BBC1, Sirius XM, and Triple J, as well as accumulating over 150 million streams across DSPs.
