As a global dance music sensation, Alesso continues his run as one of the most successful rising stars in the scene. Cue the release of his latest single “Zig Zag”… and let the track record continue. Out now (March 29) through Body Bi/Capitol Records, the infectious and anthemic “Zig Zag” sets the tone for what’s sure to be an adrenaline-packed season for Alesso. The song also serves as the first single from Alesso’s forthcoming Hypnotize EP, which will be releasing this month.
Showcasing his tech house side, Alesso explores a different vibe on “Zig Zag,” which is already well on its way to becoming one of the year’s top adrenaline-packed club anthems. Alesso often steps outside of the genre boxes in an attempt to not limit his creativity and flow – and on “Zig Zag,” it’s certainly paid off. The mesmerizing track channels a darker and ambient tone that fuses elements of underground, hypnotic rhythms, and commanding basslines.
“Zig Zag” sees its official release following inclusion in Alesso’s recent sets at some of the world’s most notable music fests, including the kineticFIELD at EDC Mexico and the Main Stage at Tomorrowland Winter in France.
With the release, Alesso will be ushering a new era in his artistic journey, this time going beyond the call of his own well-established musical contributions, the renowned artist is poised to unveil Body Hi, a multifaceted brand encompassing a record label, apparel line, and events platform. Fans can expect a preview of the Body Hi experience at Alesso’s highly anticipated Coachella Do Lab set on weekend 1, where he’ll debut his latest sounds under the new banner.
