John Summit Teams With Mathame & Camden Cox on “Hungover”

The collaboration, out now on Experts Only/Darkroom Records, was just performed live at Summit’s LA stadium show.

One of dance music’s most prominent artists, John Summit – DJ LIFE Magazine cover story this August – has joined forces with Mathame and Camden Cox for the release of “Hungover.” The globally acclaimed artists dropped their trailblazing new single on Dec. 15 through Summit’s Experts Only imprint and Darkroom Records.

John Summit recently performed a headline show at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The Dec. 16th event consisted of over 22,000 attendees and was equipped with live performances from Hayla, Camden Cox, and Stevie Appleton, who took the stage alongside Summit. Together on stage, John and Camden Cox serenaded the LA crowd with their newly released single – and the crowd went wild.

Strongly closing out the year, Summit released one final tune to cap out a successful ’23. This year alone, John released his wildly-popular and chart-topping “Where You Are” with Hayla, “Fade Out” with MKLA, “The Legacy” with VLTRA, and now “Hungover.” The song has been teased by the Italian dance duo Mathame (debuted during their Tomorrowland 2023 set) as well as John Summit for several months. What better feeling than finally figuring out a long-awaited track ID? “Hungover” contains all the components of a smash dance track, which can best be described as uplifting, deep house, big room techno, electro, trance.
