The decks, which serve as direct-drive turntables for entry-level DJs, are available now.
Germany’s Reloop, distributed Stateside by American Music & Sound, has introduced the RP-2000 MK4 and RP-2000 MK4 Silver direct-drive turntables for entry-level DJs. The decks feature two speeds (33-1/3 and 45 RPM), a plus/minus 8-percent pitch range with a center-click detent and a precision-engineered die-cast aluminum platter.
The classic, statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with universal SME connection, anti-skating and adjustable tracking force completes the core technical features. An Ortofon OM Black cartridge system with pre-mounted headshell is provided. The reinforced chassis construction and shock-absorbing feet effectively reduce vibrations, preventing feedback and skipping needles.
