The latest 1.10 release adds play history tracking, Serato 4.0 support, smarter DJ prep tools, and deeper automation for DJs managing massive libraries.
For DJs, the real work often happens long before the first track drops. Organizing music and metadata, fixing beatgrids, managing crates, and keeping multiple platforms in sync can take hours – which is especially true for DJs with large collections. Lexicon has built its reputation on eliminating that prep grind, and its most recent 1.10 release takes that mission further with its most significant update to date.
Lexicon 1.10 arrives after eight months of development and over 1,000 commits, introducing major workflow upgrades across the board. The biggest headline is full support for Serato’s new 4.0 database format, including import/export compatibility, smart crate handling, external and network drive support, playlist color transfer, and crate ordering preservation – making it far easier for DJs to keep their libraries organized and portable across setups.
One of the most notable additions is the new Track Timeline, which gives DJs a visual overview of a playlist by charting BPM, key, energy, and more. It’s designed as a faster, more intuitive way to build sets visually, and it updates in real time as changes are made. Lexicon 1.10 also introduces play history tracking, letting DJs import and review session history from their DJ app, complete with editable set logs, ratings, and location tagging.
If that wasn’t enough, the update includes serious technical improvements, including a rebuilt beat detection engine for stronger BPM and beatgrid analysis, plus OpenKeyScan integration for AI-powered key detection. Additional upgrades include enhanced duplicate detection tools, redesigned statistics with interactive filtering, rekordbox memory cue support, advanced custom tag filtering, Spotify previewing and conversion, and a wide range of improvements aimed at helping DJs spend less time prepping and more time playing.
