Deep Tropics Music Festival Unveils 2024 Headliners

Kaskade (Redux), SOFI TUKKER, RL Grime to headline “the greenest festival in North America” on Aug. 16-17, 2024.

Deep Tropics Music, Art & Style Festival returns this year for a celebration of music, connection, discovery, and sustainability. On August 16 & 17, Deep Tropics lands at Bicentennial Park in Nashville, TN – and they’ve just revealed the headliners for their 2024 edition. In addition to the headliner announcement for Deep Tropics Music Fest, they’ve also dropped the news about their sustainability summit + deep culture opening experience featuring DJ Drez (breathwork, yoga, meditation, and dance).

This year’s headliners include Kaskade (Redux), SOFI TUKKER, RL Grime, and Peekaboo. As a special treat for their dedicated fans and with excitement building for the 2024 edition (with their loyalty pre-sale tickets rapidly selling out), Deep Tropics revealed a new headliner every day this week, boasting their biggest names to date. Taking center stage on Friday is legendary GRAMMY Award-winner – and recent in-game DJ for the Super Bowl – Kaskade performing a special Redux set in the Meru Amphitheatre. His Redux sets reveal a more profound and intimate sound that echoes the early days of deep house and underground electronic music.

Genre defying artist RL Grime, whose innovative and boundary-pushing tracks have been described as exotic, massive, and full of left-turns, will headline the Lotus Stage. On Saturday, sought-after house duo SOFI TUKKER will infuse their vibrant sound and community-driven ethos into a magical performance at Meru. From recent hit collaboration with Skrillex, to sold out Tennessee cave shows, there’s no doubt Peekaboo’s unique production, authentic sound, & magnetic energy will keep fans dialed in at the Lotus Stage on Saturday night.

“We are redefining the traditional festival model beyond entertainment. The long-term vision for Deep Tropics is to expand into a week-long conference that takes over Nashville. Think SXSW, ADE, Art Basel, Miami Music Week, but with a focus on regenerative design & wellness that is surrounded by amazing parties. The Sustainability Summit & expanded mindful activations at the festival itself serve as steppingstones toward that goal.” – Blake Atchison (co-founder of Deep Tropics)

Set in Bicentennial Park against the vibrant backdrop of Nashville, part of what makes Deep Tropics so unique is their continual success of going beyond net zero by producing climate positive events each year. These efforts are fueled by Deep Culture, which recognizes the interconnectedness of environmental care, personal well-being, and community engagement, and seeks to foster a transformative vision that promotes self-discovery, stronger community and environmental connections, and interactive experiences for personal and collective growth.

Through Deep Culture, Deep Tropics has successfully diverted the majority of festival waste from landfills and achieved remarkable diversion rates as high as 96%. The Carbon footprint is offset through global and local tree-planting initiatives. 2024 partnerships include Ancient Nutrition’s R.A.N.C.H. Project, Trees for The Future, Tennessee Riverkeeper and of course the wonderful team at Bicentennial Capitol State Park.

“Picture immersive workshops, thought provoking panels, and captivating talks on regenerative agriculture, sustainable fashion, renewable energy, & holistic wellness practices. Within our event festivalgoers will discover activities dedicated to rejuvenation and self-care, offering yoga, meditation, sound healing, and holistic modalities designed to replenish mind, body, and soul. Deep Tropics is more than a festival—it builds a bridge between party and purpose. It’s a vibrant expression of community, connection, and a commitment to the health of our planet through an immersive celebration of dance music culture.” – Joel Atchison (co-founder of Deep Tropics)

Tickets for Deep Tropics Music Festival 2024 are available beginning March 4 at 10am CST. Find more information and tickets at deeptropics.org.
