Detroit Movement Festival has just dropped the full lineup for their 2023 edition, which includes over 115 artists across three days.

Movement Music Festival has just announced the full lineup for its 2023 edition, which features over 115 acts, including a headlining set from the legendary UK dance duo Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), joining previously announced headliners Underworld and Charlotte de Witte. The leading electronic festival takes place over Memorial Day Weekend from May 27-29, 2023 at Hart Plaza in Detroit.

The announcement today (Feb. 28), also includes dance music titan Skrillex. The news comes following his recently sold out Madison Square Garden show with Fred Again.. & Four Tet, as well as back-to-back album releases Don’t Get Too Close and Quest For Fire). To coincide with the two album releases and MSG show, Skrillex along with Fred & Four Tet also performed a surprise pop-up in Times Square as well as an intimate show at Manhattan’s Le Poisson Rouge (LPR).

Also included on the full lineup for this year’s Movement are techno pioneer Cybotron; acclaimed electronic music producer Bonobo (DJ Set); legendary Memphis hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia; Detroit techno stalwarts Carl Craig ft. Jon Dixon (live); electronic music heavyweight Kaskade playing under his deep underground alias Kaskade Redux; Swedish-born techno producer, DJ and Drumcode recording artist Ida Engberg; UK house and breakbeat veteran Paul Woolford performing under his coveted alias Special Request; legendary German techno producer Stephan Bodzin (live); Keinemusik member Adam Port; minimal techno pioneer Ricardo Villalobos; iconic dubstep duo Zeds Dead performing as Zeds Dead (Altered States) (Altered States is the duo’s new label focused on exploring a diverse range of electronic music); rising Jersey club DJ and producer Uniiqu3 and many others.

“It’s been 24 years since we last danced together in Detroit. We’re obviously a million light years past excited to be back with you in May at Movement Festival.” – Underworld

The full talent roster  artists join the previously announced headlining electronic music legends Underworld and Belgian techno star Charlotte de Witte, as well as the enigmatic house legend and Detroit favorite Moodymann, who returns for his first performance at the festival in 10 years as his last performance was in 2013. Additionally, previously announced artists as part of the lineup teaser included Caribou, DJ Seinfeld, Masters At Work, Robert Hood (live), Green Velvet, DJ Minx, Dom Dolla b2b John Summit, TSHA, LSDXOXO, Ela Minus, SPFDJ, and more.
