Chris Lake & Disclosure Drop “in2minds” Collaboration

The highly anticipated pairing sees two of the leading acts in electronic music today uniting via Black Book Records/Astralwerks.

Today marks the release of “in2minds,” the electrifying new track from GRAMMY-nominated DJ/producers Chris Lake and Disclosure, available now (Fri., Sept. 20) via Black Book Records/Astralwerks. This collaboration marries the signature sounds of two of dance music’s most dynamic acts, delivering a hypnotic banger that’s set to dominate dance floors across the globe.

“in2minds” showcases a perfect meld of Lake and Disclosure’s potent musicality and avant-garde vision, exploding into a symphony of shimmering synths and frenetic beats. The track builds with relentless intensity, driven by a pulsating groove that makes it irresistibly infectious. From the moment it starts, “in2minds” is a sonic rollercoaster, spiraling into an auditory feast that’s both fresh and familiar.

The buzz around “in2minds” started in May, when Disclosure teased it at the Cercle Festival during a back-to-back set with Mochakk. The anticipation only grew as Chris Lake made a surprise appearance at Disclosure’s Friends & Family pop-up in Los Angeles, giving another preview of the track. Since then, it has become a staple in the sets of influential DJs like Four Tet, salute, Joy Orbison, Ben UFO, and many more, who’ve spun it in underground clubs throughout the summer.

“This was a fun and natural collaboration for me. We made ‘in2minds’ the first day we got in the studio together. Disclosure and I are both pretty technical and with this song it feels like we kind of flexed on each other a little bit. The result is the collaboration of two minds.” – Chris Lake

The release follows a series of standout moments for both artists. Chris Lake has been riding a wave of success with his hit “Summertime Blues” with Sammy Virji, which topped Spotify Viral charts and dance/electronic club charts for several weeks. He also dropped “Black Book ID’s: Chapter 8,” a compilation showcasing the global reach of his label. Disclosure, on the other hand, continued to capture global attention with “She’s Gone, Dance On,” a track that not only stormed the charts but also featured innovative remixes and a captivating stage show that highlighted their unique blend of electronic and organic sounds.

“I’ve been a fan of Chris’s work since discovering his track ‘Piano Hand,’ and only recently discovered we’ve been neighbours in LA for a few years now. When we finally connected, our first time working together led to this track ‘in2minds,’ a fast-paced, bass-heavy 808 driving track with a nice blend of each of our styles & vibes in there. This is just the first of a few bits we have cooking. I hope you all enjoy this one.” – Guy of Disclosure

With “in2minds,” Chris Lake and Disclosure have not just released a single – they’ve unleashed a force set to captivate and energize audiences, ensuring that this track will be remembered as a defining moment of their careers.
