John Summit Releases Club-Heavy “Fade Out” With MKLA

The club-ready anthem “Fade Out” from John Summit with MKLA is available now (Aug. 25) through Off The Grid Records.

The official – and highly anticipated — follow-up to John Summit’s “Where You Are” with Hayla has finally arrived – and it’s a club-ready anthem. The anthemic club tune, “Fade Out” featuring MKLA, is available now (August 25). “Fade Out” is the final release on Summit’s Off The Grid Records (which will just be operating under a different name moving forward). Since the release of his last single with Hayla – and one of the year’s most successful – “Where You Are,” Summit released his anniversary remix of “I Remember” from deadmau5 & Kaskade. “Fade Out” is his first original music since the March 3rd release of “Where You Are,” which is still dominating the charts and playlists.

Having released one of the biggest and most supported songs of the year (“Where You Are”), coming up with a follow-up is no easy task. We spoke to John Summit about it in our exclusive interview and DJ LIFE Mag cover story, John Summit: Life at the Top, HERE.

On “Fade Out,” Summit serves up a dose of electronic nostalgia that results in an uptempo, club-heavy hit. John’s production – and his apparent evolution as an artist and producer – truly shines on “Fade Out,” which includes an entrancing stellar vocal performance from MKLA. Similar to how John followed up his smash “Human” with Echoes with the Latin-fused “La Danza,” this time he followed up the vocal-heavy and emotional “Where You Are” with the club-banging “Fade Out.”

Our latest and current DJ LIFE magazine cover story star, John Summit, has been continuing his rise to the top – even over the past and upcoming few months. He’s spent the summer taking Ibiza nightlife and the worldwide festival circuit by storm. John also recently headlined HARD Summer in Southern California where he played alongside Kaskade – and the pair debuted new music. John continues his infamous benders with a stop at Electric Zoo Festival 2023 Hyperspace where he and Dom Dolla with join forces for the world premiere of their EVERYTHING ALWAYS moniker.

John Summit’s rise in the electronic music landscape has been nothing short of meteoric. He recently announced his December 16th headlining Los Angeles show at the BMO Stadium for 22,000+ concert goers. More info on the BMO Stadium show can be found HERE. Additionally, to add to his massive festival and tour run, John continues his infamous benders with a stop at Electric Zoo Festival 2023 Hyperspace where he and Dom Dolla with join forces for the world premiere of their EVERYTHING ALWAYS moniker and will be playing Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas in September, along with continuing his European summer tour.
