After flipping the electronic dance community upside down taking to social media sharing the same color gradient snippets to their Instagram accounts, Kaskade and Deadmau5 have officially announced that they will be teaming up on a new collaborative project that will go by the name of Kx5.
The snippets they shared ended up being pieces of the artwork for their new project’s debut single “Escape” featuring Hayla which is set to be released on March 11th. In addition to the news of their new single, Kx5 revealed they will be making their live performance debut in May at EDC Las Vegas.
Being a collaboration over a decade and a half in the making, true electronic dance music fans will remember these two linking up for the timeless gem “I Remember” back in 2008 with “Move For Me” dropping the following year and these two dance icons reuniting in 2016 to bring us “Beneath with Me” featuring Skylar Grey.
