Similar to the Rocksmith music video game, which teaches instrument learning, DJ Life Simulator follows the same philosophy — but instead of guitars, it focuses on DJ controllers and DJ culture. Can be played with a mouse/keyboard, but also with a variety of pro-level, MIDI-compatible controllers.
Unlike traditional rhythm games, DJ Life Simulator recreates the actual workflow of a pro DJ. There are no scripted notes or fixed songs: players freely choose their music, and every transition is entirely player-driven. Players will learn beatmatching, phrasing, harmonic mixing, EQ techniques, crowd reading, transition timing, effects management and track selection.
