The latest update brings native rekordbox support, AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ compatibility, and a major overhaul of SoundSwitch’s Static Looks system.
SoundSwitch has expanded its beat-synced lighting platform with SoundSwitch 2.11, adding native rekordbox integration alongside support for compatible AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ hardware through PRO DJ LINK Bridge. The update builds on existing Engine DJ, Serato DJ Pro, and VirtualDJ compatibility, allowing rekordbox users to automatically create light shows from their libraries or build custom scripts for individual tracks. Beat-synchronized autoloops also work with unanalyzed tracks and streaming services.
The update also significantly expands Static Looks, giving DJs 128 looks across four banks, multi-look triggering, independent parameters, new movement effects, and fade controls. A redesigned onboarding system adds contextual help and a built-in feature guide, while PRO DJ LINK Bridge lets compatible standalone AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ systems send performance data to SoundSwitch over Ethernet for synchronized lighting.
