Native Instruments Marks 30 Years With Maschine 3.7 Update, Three New Expansions

Maschine 3.7 adds new sequencing tools while Thirty, Paris Heat, and Rage Circuit bring fresh sounds for producers.

Native Instruments is celebrating 30 years with a major update to its Maschine production platform, introducing Maschine 3.7 alongside three new Expansion Packs.

The free software update adds new creative sequencing features designed to help producers move beyond the blank grid, while the new Thirty, Paris Heat, and Rage Circuit collections cover everything from the company’s own catalog of sounds to French house, rage, and hypertrap.

Maschine 3.7 introduces several ways to make patterns more dynamic, including a Random Note Generator that creates notes based on adjustable odds, a Euclidean Sequencer for building rhythmic patterns through steps, fills, and rotation, and Note Event (Chance), which assigns probability values to individual notes and re-rolls them with each loop. The tools are designed to encourage experimentation while allowing producers to lock in a pattern of their choosing, once it lands where they want it – whether working with Maschine hardware or the software on its own.

Things come in threes with the new Expansion lineup, each offering a distinct direction while maintaining the cohesive approach associated with Maschine content. Thirty celebrates Native Instruments’ 30th anniversary by re-sampling and reworking material from across its catalog, Paris Heat channels the filter-heavy energy and four-on-the-floor punch of French house, and Rage Circuit moves into futuristic rage, hypertrap, and next-generation hip-hop territory with GRAMMY-winning producer Snipe Young. Together, the three collections give producers three very different starting points for pushing their sound forward.

    Key Features:

    • Maschine 3.7: Free update for Maschine 3 with new creative sequencing tools.
    • Random Note Generator: Generates notes based on adjustable probability settings.
    • Euclidean Sequencer: Creates rhythmic patterns using steps, fills, and rotation, with a Live mode for real-time changes.
    • Note Event (Chance): Assigns probability to individual notes and re-rolls patterns on each loop.
    • Thirty: 30th-anniversary Expansion featuring 30 Maschine kits, 89 loops, 291 drum samples, and 85 one-shots, drawing from Native Instruments’ catalog.
    • Paris Heat: French house-inspired Expansion with 40 Maschine kits, 108 loops, 314 drum samples, and 127 one-shots.
    • Rage Circuit: Rage, hypertrap, and futuristic hip-hop Expansion created with Snipe Young, featuring 41 Maschine kits, 291 loops, 375 drum samples, and 37 one-shots.
    • Expansion Content: Includes loops, samples, one-shots, drum kits, synth presets, construction kits, FX chains, and studio-ready projects.
