The electronic music pioneers are joining Moises’ new Artist Partnerships program, helping develop creative tools designed to keep musicians at the center of the process.
Moises is bringing two influential names in electronic music, Armin van Buuren and Laidback Luke, into the conversation around the future of music technology. The pair have joined the company’s new Artist Partnerships program as its first members, with both artists set to help shape new DJ and producer focused features while contributing to discussions around responsible AI. The move follows Charlie Puth’s appointment as Moises’ Chief Music Officer and reflects the company’s broader effort to put working musicians directly into the development of its creative tools.
“Electronic music has always moved forward because artists were willing to experiment with new technology,” said Geraldo Ramos, founder and CEO of Moises. “The next generation of creative tools has to be built with musicians, not around them. Armin and Luke understand the craft, the community, and the responsibility that comes with building tools musicians will actually use.”
“Technology has always been part of how electronic music evolves. What matters is whether the artist stays in control. Moises approaches AI with respect for the musician’s own sound and decision-making, and I’m excited to help build tools that make producers faster and more expressive without taking the creativity out of their hands.” – Armin van Buuren
For van Buuren and Laidback Luke, the partnership centers on an approach to AI that supports rather than replaces the creative process. Moises says its AI models are trained only on licensed and authorized content, with its platform focused on helping musicians practice, perform, create, and collaborate while retaining creative control. Both artists will bring their experience as performers, producers, educators, and industry innovators to the program as Moises prepares to expand its artist partnerships across additional genres.
“Every generation of producers gets new tools, but the best tools do not do the work for you. They help you hear more, learn faster, and make stronger creative decisions. That is the kind of AI I want young producers to grow up with.” – Laidback Luke
