Antares Audio Technologies has introduced AutoTune Advanced, the newest flagship in its AutoTune lineup and a ground-up rebuild of its automatic pitch correction technology. At its core is the new patent-pending DVA engine, which detects (and preserves) a singer’s natural vibrato, allowing vocals to retain their character whether using subtle correction or more aggressive tuning. The updated algorithm is designed to deliver smoother and more accurate real-time pitch correction while maintaining the feel of the original performance.
AutoTune Advanced adds several new tools for both tracking and vocal production, including a Live mode with reported latency of just 0.84 ms at 44.1 kHz, along with Low Latency and High Quality modes. DVA includes a real-time vibrato visualizer, while the new Vibrato FX can add movement using sine, square, saw, or triangle waves. Other additions include an updated Formant Designer, custom scale workflow, 78-note Visual Keyboard, and MIDI Perform for hands-on control and automation. Classic Mode remains available for the hard-tuned AutoTune sound, while Modern Mode focuses on more transparent correction.
The new flagship also arrives with exclusive presets created by GRAMMY Award-winning producers and artists including Julian Marley, Ann Mincieli, Tom Norris, and Benjamin Thomas. AutoTune Advanced sits alongside AutoTune Pro 11, which includes Graph Mode and detailed manual editing, and the streamlined AutoTune for everyday pitch correction, giving producers and engineers different approaches to vocal tuning within the AutoTune family.
