Paul Oakenfold Tour Diary Week 6: As the tour continues, Oakie reflects on his latest stops and why weekends like this remind him why he loves doing [this].
Started the week in Dallas, playing a show at SILO, which was fantastic. It’s always one of my favorite stops, with a great club, a great team, and an amazing crowd. The energy in the room was incredible from start to finish, and it was the perfect way to kick off the week.
The following day, we flew to Seattle and enjoyed the start of a long weekend on the road. One of the highlights was the USA World Cup game vs. Australia. With USA’s 2-0 victory, the team qualified and went through to the knockout stage of the tournament, and the atmosphere around the city was electric.

Next, we headed to Sacramento, where I spent part of the day on remote meetings about my new single, “Masquerade.” It’s been great to see the support the track has been receiving, with playlist additions and radio plays continuing to come in. I’m very grateful for all the support so far.
We then made our way to Ventura for the final show of the weekend, and it went down a storm. The crowd were fantastic, the lasers and lighting looked amazing, and everything seemed to come together perfectly. It was a brilliant way to end a busy few days on the road.

Tour life is full-on right now, but weekends like this remind me why I love doing it. The shows have been amazing. This week we have five shows in five days. Hope to see you all somewhere along the way!
