Paul Oakenfold Tour Diary Week 3: Leaving Colombia and returning home to London.
London, U.K. – I’ve left Colombia and headed home to London where I now live.
When home, it’s great to see family and spend time with my mum. I took mum out for dinner. Can’t beat fish n’ chips. What a wonderful mum I have. I even got her to sew my trousers – ready for my next trip.

Also, my buddy Dale came over. He’s a great artist in his own right and works with me on the Perfecto Allstarz music. We set up the studio in the living room, and we worked on new Perfecto Allstarz track, “Top of the World.” Always great to be home to spend time with the most important people in your life. I never forget that as I travel the world through music. I realize how lucky I am, and I never take any of this for granted.

While home, I went to my local wellness center to have a couple of treatments, as I’ve been in this space for the last several years. Being on the road takes it out of you, so I take a lot of vitamins and do lots of treatments wherever I go. Perfecto have even asked me to help them with launching Perfecto Wellness, which will be held on their website in the next couple of months. Be on the lookout for it.

The World Cup is around the corner, starting June 11. I’m very much looking forward to the tour with The Crystal Method and Liquid Todd, going to games, playing at fan zones, and doing our own shows.
When in London, I stayed for a bit at my favorite hotel in Soho, the Karma Sanctum. Had an afternoon of media for the release of my album, Mission Underground, coming out next month.
I also worked on PerfectoVerse, which is a 90-minute animated show which is set in the metaverse. This will be available on YouTube for Christmas.
The next day, I went in the studio to look at the edits with the Perfecto team, who have put together the Perfecto Documentary, Perfecto: How Dance Music Changed the World.
Had lunch at my favorite restaurant, Mountain, and saw my friends at The Devonshire. Love London. In my opinion – the best city in the world. But.. we’re back on the road this weekend – this time to America’s West Coast.
Track of the Weekend: “Not Over Yet” by Paul Oakenfold x Markus Schulz x Grace.
