EDC Las Vegas Expands Into Two-Weekend ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ Festival Experience for ’27

Insomniac reveals a newly reimagined 12-day EDC concept spanning two consecutive weekends, giving Headliners more ways to experience life Under the Electric Sky.

Fresh off the milestone celebration of its 30th anniversary, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas is already looking ahead with a major evolution in store for 2027. Less than one week after their ‘26 edition, Insomniac has just announced “Dusk Till Dawn,” a new festival format that will expand EDC Las Vegas across two consecutive weekends at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in ‘27, creating an even more immersive and flexible 12-day experience for attendees.

The ‘27 installment will kick off with “EDC Dusk” taking place May 14-16, followed by “EDC Dawn,” running May 21-23. For those looking to go all-in, Insomniac will also offer a full “Dusk Till Dawn Experience” spanning May 13-24 – and that expands well beyond the festival grounds with EDC-themed programming across Las Vegas. Insomniac Founder Pasquale Rotella has said the new concept is designed to give fans the freedom to choose their own path while allowing the festival itself to continue evolving creatively.

Following a just-completed sold-out ‘26 edition that brought hundreds of thousands of attendees to celebrate three decades of EDC Las Vegas. This year’s fest featured more than 450 artists across 18 music areas and art cars, with highlight performances from Kaskade, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, John Summit, Tiësto, Charlotte de Witte, FISHER, Peggy Gou, Underworld, The Prodigy, and Subtronics, among many others. The weekend also introduced new additions like the World Party Parade on the Las Vegas Strip, expanded art car programming, and citywide activations including EDC Week, Hotel EDC, and Camp EDC.

While full lineup and theme details for EDC Las Vegas 2027 have not yet been revealed, Insomniac confirmed the upcoming edition is being designed with a lower capacity in mind, aiming to create more room on the dancefloor and a smoother overall festival experience. Additional information on Camp EDC, Hotel EDC, EDC Week, and other Las Vegas programming will be announced in the coming months.
