    iZotope Unveils RX 12, Expanding 50+ Tool Audio Restoration Ecosystem

    New Stems View, Scene Rebalance, and upgraded machine learning features make cleaner mixes and faster audio repair more achievable than ever.

    iZotope has introduced RX 12 today (April 29), the latest evolution of its industry-leading audio editing and restoration suite. Built on decades of award-winning research, RX 12 delivers a powerful ecosystem of 50+ tools designed to repair flaws, enhance clarity, and preserve performances across music production, post-production, podcast editing, and beyond.

    From major studio releases and film dialogue to home recordings and streaming content, RX has long been a go-to solution for rescuing audio quickly without sacrificing quality. With RX 12, iZotope continues that mission by introducing new workflow enhancements and next-gen machine learning upgrades that help users clean up recordings faster and with greater precision than ever before.

    Features & What’s New in RX 12:

    • Scene Rebalance: Separates film and TV scenes into dialogue, music, and effects tracks for quick editing and re-leveling.
    • Stems View: Creates track-based stems using Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance, or Dialogue Isolate, allowing users to apply RX tools to individual elements and export seamlesssly.
    • De-bleed (rebuilt): Improved machine learning isolates competing instruments or headphone bleed without requiring a reference track, now also available as a real-time plugin.
    • Music Rebalance (enhanced): Now offered as a standalone real-time plugin, with upgraded neural nets for cleaner separation of vocals, bass, and percussion.
    • Dialogue Isolate (enhanced): Updated neural net processing improves real-time and offline de-noising and de-reverb for speech and vocals.
    • Trim Silence: Automatically detects and removes silence in long audio files, speeding up podcast editing, dialogue mixing, and audiobook workflows.
    • Improved workflow and design: A refreshed interface includes a larger spectrogram, module search, and resizable history panel for smoother navigation.
