Insomniac’s house and techno gathering unveils its biggest event yet at the Queen Mary Waterfront, becoming the largest waterfront music venue on the West Coast.
Insomniac has announced a major expansion for the 2026 edition of Day Trip Festival, revealing that the event will debut the brand-new Long Beach Amphitheater as its third stage. Taking place June 27 & 28, 2026 at the scenic Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, California, the two-day celebration of house and techno will be among the first events to activate the highly anticipated venue. With a capacity of 11,000 attendees, the open-air amphitheater will become the largest waterfront music venue on the West Coast, offering panoramic views of the downtown skyline and harbor while significantly expanding the festival’s footprint.
Set against the coastal backdrop of Shoreline Village and the historic Queen Mary, Day Trip Festival has grown into one of the most beloved house and techno gatherings in the U.S. Since evolving from its early days as a Sunday party at Academy LA, the event has welcomed standout performances from artists like Dom Dolla, Fisher, John Summit, Gorgon City, and BLOND:ISH, among many others. Now entering its sixth edition, the fest continues its trajectory with the addition of the Long Beach Amphitheater, further cementing its status as a premier summer destination for dance music fans.
