Insomniac’s hard dance fest returns to San Bernardino with an expanded format, new genre additions, and extended hours at NOS Event Center.
Insomniac has announced a major development for Wasteland Festival as it prepares for its 11th edition, set for September 4 & 5, 2026 at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California. Long known as a cornerstone for hard dance culture stateside, Wasteland will debut a newly expanded three-stage layout, opening the door to more sounds, more artists, and a broader interpretation of hard dance.
Wasteland’s 2026 installment is set to introduce curated stage takeovers from Basscon, Mutate, and Unreal Germany. Basscon remains the festival’s foundation, continuing to champion hardstyle, while Mutate brings Insomniac’s harder-edged techno imprint into the mix. Unreal Germany makes its California festival debut, adding a European hard techno perspective that further diversifies the weekend’s evolving identity. The additional stage allows the fest to showcase more electronic music subgenres and elevate the overall flow of the experience across the festival-grounds.
The expansion doesn’t stop there. Wasteland ‘26 will feature extended event hours along with its first official onsite after party each night at NOS Event Center, pushing the weekend deeper into the night for avid hard dance lovers.

Two-day GA and 21+ VIP passes go on sale at 12 PM PT on Thursday, February 5 at wastelandfest.com.
