A sold-out edition underscores the festival’s reach, as a slew of musical genres fuels anticipation, the fest continues to gain global recognition.
With four months still to go before gates open, Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 has officially sold out, marking the second consecutive year that both full festival passes and individual day tickets have done so – and well ahead of schedule. Set to take place June 4-6, 2026, at Parc del Fòrum, the 24th edition once again reinforces the event’s reputation as one of the most culturally tuned-in festivals. Primavera has been gaining momentum globally, known as an event where underground credibility and mainstream impact blissfully coexist.
This year’s headliners reflect that balance in a striking fashion as landmark performances are anticipated from The Cure, Doja Cat, The xx, Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Addison Rae, and My Bloody Valentine. Across the main days of the fest, artists ranging from Wet Leg and Yard Act to TV Girl, Father John Misty, and PinkPantheress further extend that that stylistic conversation across indie, alternative, electronic, pop, and their sub-genres.
Primavera’s citywide identity returns with its “Primavera a la Ciutat” programming, where more than sixty shows are embedded throughout Barcelona, as well as the traditional free Opening Day on June 3. The week closes on June 7 with the Primavera Bits showcase, where electronic music takes center stage to deliver a final, club-focused exhale to the marathon celebration.
Dance and electronic music remains deeply woven into the ‘26 lineup, with standout appearances and sets from Skrillex, Peggy Gou, KI/KI, Joseph Capriati, Carl Cox, BLOND:ISH, Hannah Laing, Klangkuenstler, Indira Paganotto, Prospa, and DJ Tennis, among others.
