Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs) 2026 Nominees Announced

The fan-voted celebration enters a bold new era as it relocates to an iconic South Beach venue as one of Miami Music Week’s biggest gatherings.

The Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs) have officially unveiled 2026 nominees, marking the return of one of dance music’s most anticipated annual moments and the start of a new chapter for the long-running celebration. Timed once again to take place during Miami Music Week, this year’s event shifts to the legendary Clevelander South Beach in Miami Beach, celebrating the global electronic community and congregating ahead of the always-anticipated Ultra weekend.

Known as the only major fan-voted awards platform dedicated entirely to electronic dance music, the EDMAs continue to blur the line between ceremony and party. Instead of traditional ballroom presentations, winners are revealed live during performances, surprise guest appearances, and spontaneous onstage moments that reflect the energy of the scene. The move to the Clevelander amplifies the mission, creating a more immersive, open-format environment designed to bring artists, industry leaders, and fans together in one high-impact setting.

This year’s nominations reflect the full spectrum of today’s dance music landscape. From festival favorites to dominating anthems, underground club records to chart-toppers, the EDMAs will highlight some of the world’s biggest DJs and producers, as well as rising talent alike. Names like Tiësto, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Subtronics, among others, continue to demonstrate cross-generational staying power with multiple nods, while current main stage leaders such as Dom Dolla and John Summit reinforce the ongoing global surge of house music. Vocal-driven dance crossover also remains a defining force, with artists like HAYLA appearing across several high-profile categories, and melodic-tech innovators such as Anyma continuing to shape the audiovisual evolution of the genre.

“We continue our tradition of being the only major fan-voted awards platform exclusively for the electronic dance music global community,” said Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, iHeartRadio National Hall of Fame personality and founder/executive producer of the EDMAs. “It’s another year of us hittin’ you with massive A-list surprise performances, along with EDM’s biggest hit makers accepting their much-deserved ‘Deck’ award. Let’s go!”

As part of the expanded ‘26 experience, the awards will integrate with SHIFT Miami programming, adding panels, industry activations, and curated gatherings around the ceremony to create a full-day cultural touchpoint rather than a standalone show. Join us and follow along on socials as DJ LIFE – an official media partner of this year’s EDMAs – will be onsite covering all the action.
