With Perspectives EP 3, Cosmic Gate brings their ambitious trilogy to a confident and emotionally-driven close. The three-track release distills everything the duo has been exploring across the series – blending trance foundations with melodic techno, melodic house, and vocal-driven storytelling into a cohesive final chapter. Rather than feeling like a standalone release, Perspectives EP 3 functions as the final (and missing) piece of the larger project – which is unmistakably Cosmic Gate.
The EP opens with “Need A Little Love,” a collaboration with CMD/CTRL that sets the tone through progressive pacing coupled with a slow-burning melodic spark. Built on tension and release, the track gradually unfolds into a powerful, hands-in-the-air payoff. Already garnering support from Tiësto on his PRISMATIC Radio show, the track solidifies Cosmic Gate’s continued relevance within modern dance floors and festival stages alike.
Momentum carries into track 2, “How This Ends,” a collab with AVIRA and vocals from Sarah de Warren. The track glides between melodic techno and trance, anchored by de Warren’s intimate yet cinematic vocal delivery. “Let It All Out” feat. Ava Silver – the EP closer – leans into that classic euphoric trance, building patiently before erupting into uplifting, soaring melodies. With Perspectives EP 3, Cosmic Gate not only completes a trilogy, but further reaffirms their stature within the trance music circuit.
