The London-based producer drops his official remix of “The Way I Are” while gearing up for major 2026 live dates.
London’s house music standout Max Dean delivers a fresh take on a global smash with his official remix of Timbaland’s 2007 classic, “The Way I Are,” available now through Interscope. Infusing the original’s unmistakable vocal hooks from Keri Hilson with groove-forward house rhythms and polished modern production, the remix bridges nostalgia and dance floor energy in a way that feels both timeless and current.
The release arrives amid a breakout year for Dean, who has garnered recognition for his viral anthem “Can’t Decide” with Locky and Luke Dean – now surpassing 48 million Spotify streams. Max continues to build momentum while staying rooted in his retro-inspired, club-first sound.
Alongside his cousin Luke Dean, Max is also fueling the rapid rise of their NEXUP RECZ label and event series, responsible for massive takeovers at DRUMSHEDS, The Warehouse Project, and a recent headline show at Space Miami. Looking ahead, the duo is set to bring that momentum stateside with appearances at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 10 and 17, 2026, with more live dates to be announced soon.
