L-Acoustics to Reveal Industry-First DJ System During ADE ‘25

L-Acoustics will introduce the first-ever spatial audio DJ system at ADE ‘25, bringing immersive sound and real-time stem mixing to DJs.

L-Acoustics will officially debut L-Acoustics DJ, the world’s first spatial audio system designed specifically for DJs, during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2025 from October 22–24, ahead of its global sales launch on October 30. The system reimagines how DJs and audiences experience sound, transforming traditional stereo setups into immersive, three-dimensional performances.

Powered by Source Separate, L-Acoustics’ proprietary low-latency machine learning technology, the system isolates stems – beats, basslines, and vocals – in real time. DJs can then move and position these elements throughout the room, surrounding listeners with a truly dynamic sonic landscape. Without disrupting established workflows, it offers a creative leap for both artists and venues looking to deliver next-level club experiences.

Amsterdam has become the heart of spatial audio innovation, and The Other Side – the first nightclub to install L-ISA Immersive Sound Technology – serves as the perfect testing ground for this breakthrough. The venue will host live demos, panels, and performances throughout ADE, including immersive sets from Voices From the Lake, Halina Rice, and a Mercury KX Label Showcase.

“Working with L-Acoustics DJ opens a whole new dimension to my performances,” says Max Cooper, who demonstrated the system at L-Acoustics Keynote 2025. “What I appreciate most is how it fits right into my existing setup, and immediately I can place drums, melodies, and vocals throughout the entire space in real time.”

    ADE 2025 Highlights:

    • L-Acoustics DJ Demos: Oct. 22–24 (Rosewood Hotel Ballroom)
    • Panel: “Stereo to Spatial from the Decks” – Oct. 23, featuring Chris McDonnell
    • Hands-On System Walkthrough: Oct. 23 (The Other Side) with Doeshka Vrede and live set by McDonnell
    • Full Cycle Live Shows: Oct. 22–24 at The Other Side, featuring immersive 360° performances
