Redesigned with direct DJ feedback, the latest update introduces powerful new improvements in organization, discovery, and performance.

Serato has officially launched the public beta for Serato DJ Pro 4.0 and Serato DJ Lite 4.0, unveiling the most significant update yet to its library interface. Built in close collaboration with the global DJ community, the release delivers a complete redesign focused on workflow efficiency and greater creative control.

The 4.0 update introduces a more personalized, flexible, and visually intuitive experience for crate management and track discovery – empowering DJs of all levels to stay in flow and perform with confidence.

Highlights of Serato DJ 4.0 include:

    • Smarter crate search and filtering: Quickly locate and filter your crates, and instantly see which crates a track belongs to.
    • Pin your go-to crates: Keep your most used crates at the top of your list for faster access during sets.
    • Color-coded crate system: Apply custom colors to your crates for easier visual navigation across your library.
    • Crate details at a glance: Instantly view each crate’s duration, track count, and file size at the bottom of the screen.
    • Custom track rating column: Add your own track ratings using a fully customizable rating system tailored to your style.
    • Right-click functionality: Access essential crate tools and track options faster with new right-click support.
    • Background analysis with hardware connected: Continue analyzing BPM, key, and other data without needing to disconnect your gear.
    • Automatic track analysis on import: Tracks are now auto-analyzed as soon as they’re added, streamlining your setup.
    • Local and streaming tracks in the same crate: Mix both streaming and locally stored tracks seamlessly within a single crate, unlocking greater flexibility in your sets.

With more tools to discover and enhanced control at every step, Serato DJ 4.0 is setting a new standard for DJ library management. Try it now through the public beta and shape the future of Serato, HERE.
