Swedish House Mafia is returning to New York City in a monumental way. The GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum supergroup has announced a one-night-only performance at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 11, 2025. The event sets out to make history as SHM is the first electronic act to ever headline the iconic venue. With a staggering capacity of over 23,000, it will also mark their largest New York show to date.
Rumors of the performance began swirling last month when cryptic billboards featuring the group’s logo appeared across Times Square, setting off a wave of anticipation from fans across social media. Now confirmed, the show sets out to be an unforgettable milestone as Swedish House Mafia ushers in their new 3.0 era, described as a fully reimagined experience that will redefine the boundaries of dance music performance.
This next chapter arrives hot on the heels of the group’s latest single, “Wait So Long,” released to critical acclaim in June. Debuted during an intimate hometown pop-up in Stockholm – their only Swedish show of the year – the track was praised by critics and dance music lovers alike. The release also marks the launch of SUPERHUMAN, Swedish House Mafia’s new label and creative platform for genre-defying artists and innovations.
Swedish House Mafia is partnering with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold goes to supporting organizations serving those affected by the events of September 11, 2001. In addition, the final donation will be matched by Swedish House Mafia.
