The global smash soundtrack continues its historic chart run with over 1.5 billion streams and record-breaking Billboard success.
Global hit-maker and two-time GRAMMY Award winner David Guetta has just released an alluring power pop version of “Golden,” the viral anthem from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack (Netflix Film), via Visva / Republic Records. The original track has become a global sensation, topping the Billboard Global 200, landing in the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and claiming #1 on Spotify’s Global and USA Top Songs charts, marking a historic first for a female K-pop group.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack continues its dominance with over 1.5 billion global streams, a Top 2 peak on the Billboard 200, and four consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Soundtracks chart, making it the highest-charting soundtrack of the year. Meanwhile, Netflix’s animated hit KPop Demon Hunters has surpassed 106M views in just five weeks, maintaining its spot at #1 on Netflix’s English Films List while breaking records for weekly viewership growth.
In our recent sit-down with David Guetta earlier this year, we discussed his career history as well as what the year had in store for him, both on the music front and on the live front. Having kicked off his residencies at LIV at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and the newly launched [UNVRS] in Ibiza, he also released his new single with Sia, “Beautiful People,” this year, just as he surprised fans during Afrojack’s set at the Ultra Music Festival MainStage. Together with Sia, Guetta joined Afrojack for the first-ever live performance of their global hit “Titanium,” as well as their latest ’25 smash.
