Miami Music Week: EDMAs Set for March 28 – Vote & Win Passes

Miami Beach, Fla.  – The Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs), with all its glitz and glamour, are set to return to Miami Music Week on Friday, March 28, at noon.

Teaming up with Winter Music Conference’s International Dance Music Awards, the EDMAs expect to light up the iconic Eden Roc Hotel by attracting many of the biggest names in EDM – award winners and industry notables alike. But, this isn’t just an awards show – it’s an all-day, non-stop pool party featuring surprise performances, and an experience like no other.

As always, the heart of the EDMAs lies in its fan-centric approach to honoring the best in the industry – the voting process empowers fans and let’s their voices be heard. (The 2025 EDMA nominations and fan voting can be found here.) While the identities of performers and attendees are kept secret, the list of nominees often offers clues about the potential stars and surprise acts set to grace the EDMAs.

If you’d like to win a pair of tickets (you +1) to the star-studded event from DJ LIFE, you can register here.

    Founder/Co-Producer: Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton.

And to give us the inside scoop on the 2025 EDMAs, we connected with iHeartRadio’s Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, co-executive producer of the event. Here’s what he had to say:

This year marks a big milestone with the 35th anniversary of WMC and the IDMAs. How does that tie into the EDMAs?

This is the biggest Miami Music Week we’ve ever seen. The Winter Music Conference and the IDMAs have been celebrating electronic music for 35 years, and this year, they’re coming together in a way that’s never been done before. The EDMAs are the highlight party of the three-day WMC, and we’re bringing in a lineup that’s going to blow people’s minds. If you thought past years were crazy, you haven’t seen anything yet. It’s the biggest lineup in EDMAs history, and at the Eden Roc, it’ll be in a setting that defines luxury and energy.

You mentioned the lineup. What can fans expect from this year’s performers?

Every year, the EDMAs bring out the biggest names in the game; but this year, we have the most insane surprise lineup we’ve ever put together. I can’t reveal who’s performing, but let me tell you, on March 28 at exactly 12 p.m., when the first surprise artist hits the stage, you’re going to lose your mind – we’re talking legends, Grammy winners, and the hottest EDM artists in the world! This is about the music, the energy, and the experience. Winners perform and accept their awards live, right after their set. You’ll be dancing with your favorite DJs, celebrating with industry icons, and partying with celebrities – all at the same time.

    2024 EDMA Winners: deadmau5 & Kaskade.

The EDMAs are not your traditional awards show. What makes it so unique?

The EDMAs are not your suit-and-tie, sit-down-and-clap kind of event. We created something that actually reflects dance-music culture – a non-stop, high-energy pool party where the fans are just as much a part of the experience as the artists. We’ve taken everything that makes traditional award shows boring and thrown it in the trash. You’re right there at the party, experiencing it live… from the red carpet to the iHeart Press Village. An open-ocean view is the backdrop behind the main stage with top-tier production, legendary DJs, and the wildest crowd in dance music. There’s nothing else like it in the world.

    How do people get tickets?

Since this is one of the most exclusive events of Miami Music Week, there are only a few ways to get in:

    • Become a WMC 3-Day Pass Holder. If you have a Winter Music Conference pass, you’re in! This gives you access to all pool parties happening at Eden Roc, including the EDMAs.
    • Stay at the Hotel. Eden Roc guests who book a room during March 26-28 automatically get access to all Miami Music Week pool parties, including the EDMAs.
    • Win Tickets on Dance Radio. Listen to dance radio stations across the USA. We’ve partnered with iHeart Radio and top stations nationwide, who are giving away tickets every week.
    • Sign Up for the Guest List. Feeling lucky? The EDMAs are approving guest-list sign-ups at random leading up to the event. Sign up here and you just might get access!

What’s one thing you’d say to someone who’s never been to the EDMAs before?

If you’ve never been to the EDMAs, let me tell you – you’re missing out on the craziest, most unforgettable party in electronic music. This isn’t just an awards show, and it’s not just another party. It’s a once-a-year, bucket-list event where you’re surrounded by the biggest names in dance music up-close-and-personal, surprise performances from the biggest DJs in the world, and an atmosphere unlike anything else. From past winners like David Guetta, deadmau5, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, and Skrillex to surprise guests that will blow your mind, this is the event to be at during Miami Music Week. If you’re a dance music fan, this is your Grammy show, the Super Bowl and Ibiza – all rolled into one.

Power of Three: Italy’s Meduza, ’24 winners.
