Transmission Festival 2025: Lineup Shared for Landmark 20th Edition

Among those slated to perform on April 12 are Paul van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten pres. Gouryella, Markus Schulz, and more.

Renowned for its breathtaking production and immersive storytelling, Transmission Festival is slated to return on April 12, 2025, once again bringing an unparalleled trance spectacle to the GelreDome Stadium in Arnhem, The Netherlands.

As the only European edition of Transmission in 2025, the highly-anticipated event solidifies its place as one of the most sought-after trance festivals in the world. With another stellar initial lineup under its belt, featuring Cosmic Gate, Craig Connelly, Daxson, Digital Culture, Driftmoon, Gouryella, Markus Schulz, and Paul van Dyk, music lovers can expect a journey through the very essence of trance – and there are still more artists yet to be announced.

Headlining the festival is Ferry Corsten’s Gouryella, marking the 25th-anniversary celebration of the legendary project that helped define the genre. Joining him is the iconic Paul van Dyk, whose timeless anthems shaped trance’s golden era, alongside Markus Schulz, whose progressive soundscapes will fill the GelreDome’s massive indoor arena.

Cosmic Gate will deliver a fusion of evolution and nostalgia, while Digital Culture, the powerhouse duo of Richard Durand and RAM, will showcase their signature techno-trance fusion. Craig Connelly, known for his #1 albums and chart-dominating tracks, will bring his emotive, high-energy sound, and rising UK star Daxson will represent the genre’s bright future with his fresh take on trance. Returning from a standout 2024 Transmission performance, Driftmoon is set to guide fans through a “vintage pure trance” journey, honoring the timeless sounds that laid the foundation for today’s scene.

Staying true to its legacy of immersive, cinematic experiences, Transmission 2025 will transform the GelreDome into a dreamlike realm, powered by cutting-edge technology, mind-blowing special effects, and masterfully designed stage production. The 9-hour festival – taking place from 2 PM to 11 PM – will craft a nighttime spectacle during the day, with each set preceded by a custom-designed intro, creating a seamless flow of energy that builds throughout the event. The GelreDome’s state-of-the-art facilities serve as the perfect backdrop for Vision Impossible’s world-class visual storytelling, ensuring an awe-inspiring experience for attendees.

Ahead of the main event, festivalgoers can get a taste of the action at Road to Transmission, an exclusive March 2025 show in Prague, featuring Daxson, Richard Durand, Ørjan Nilsen, and more. This prelude will set the stage for the grand celebration in April, building anticipation for what promises to be Transmission’s most ambitious edition yet.

As Transmission marks its 20th anniversary, the festival continues to unite trance lovers from across the globe, drawing attendees from over 80 countries over the course of its history. With past themes like Behind the Mask, Elysium, and The Awakening, this milestone year will introduce a brand-new, breathtaking theme, raising the bar for production, storytelling, and emotional connection. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey through the sound, energy, and passion, which is what make Transmission Festival a true electronic music institution.
