ALOK & Anitta Join Forces on “Looking For Love”

Two of Brazil’s biggest stars have just dropped their highly-anticipated collaboration, available now.

Brazilian superstars ALOK and Anitta have joined forces for their much-anticipated new single, “Looking For Love,” marking a monumental moment and merging of Brazilian pop and electronic music.

Best known for his groundbreaking work with the likes of John Legend and Ellie Goulding, ALOK has been a central figure in the dance music scene and was recently nominated for his first Latin GRAMMYs for his tracks “Pedju Kunumigwe” and “Drum Machine.” Anitta, who has captured global attention with hits like “Envolver,” brings her vibrant vocal presence to the track, adding a captivating edge to ALOK’s upbeat production.

“This is a collaboration that’s been anticipated for years—not just by the public, but by us as well. We’ve both wanted to work together for a long time. This collaboration happened at the perfect time; I say this because, in addition to the musical growth we’ve experienced over the years, there’s also been professional growth. Now we have the confidence to navigate different styles” – ALOK

Released today (Friday, Nov. 13), “Looking For Love” combines ALOK’s dynamic and signature sound with Anitta’s charismatic vocals, creating a contagious anthem. With lyrics like “That’s why I keep looking for love, keep looking, looking,” Anitta’s voice shines, delivering a hook that’s as infectious as it is soulful. This collaboration further cements their status as Brazil’s top artists, boasting a combined 55 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 200 million social media followers.

“The desire for this partnership isn’t recent; Alok and I have known each other for a long time. I’ve always been dedicated to bringing sonic diversity to my music—it’s something my audience expects. This collaboration is yet another proof of that. I’ve always admired Alok’s work, and producing this song with him is the result of a union of strengths and a lot of hard work” – Anitta

“Looking For Love” is also set to be accompanied by a stunning new music video filmed in São Paulo, which will release on ALOK’s YouTube channel on Nov. 18. In the video, ALOK and Anitta embrace their friendly rivalry, reflecting the energy of their fanbases who have long debated which of the two holds the top spot in Brazilian music. Have a listen for yourself and be sure to check this space once the music video drops next week.
