Traktor Z1 MK2 delivers hands-on control of Traktor software decks, stems, and effects in a compact, modular design.

Native Instruments has just launched the Traktor Z1 MK2, an upgraded version of its popular DJ mixer controller and soundcard, designed to provide high performance in a compact, portable form. With its revamped features and intuitive layout, the Z1 MK2 is well-suited for a variety of DJ setups, from home mixing to live events and even advanced modular configurations.

Setting a new standard in portable mixing, the Traktor Z1 MK2 builds on the strengths of its predecessor with a sleek design that integrates powerful DJ mixing tools into a minimalist form factor. This second-generation model boasts improved hardware, vibrant OLED displays, and enhanced audio capabilities. Its layout is streamlined yet comprehensive, making it an ideal choice for both beginner DJs and seasoned pros who need tactile control without the bulk of a traditional setup.

    Exciting New Features:

The Traktor Z1 MK2 comes packed with innovative features that make it easier than ever to create dynamic and engaging mixes:

Traktor Pro 4 Software Included: The Z1 MK2 comes with the latest version of Traktor Pro 4, which introduces cutting-edge stem separation and mastering tools powered by iZotope, an integrated drum machine, and adaptable beatgrids for seamless transitions across tempos and genres.

OLED Displays: Three high-resolution OLED screens provide key mixing details at a glance, reducing the need to constantly check your laptop and keeping your focus on the music.

Stem Control Layer: A dedicated stem control section lets DJs control the volume of individual track elements (stems), such as vocals, basslines, and drums, allowing for more creative and intricate mixes.

Mixer FX Section: With one-knob control over a selection of nine effects, including filter, reverb, delay, and gater, DJs can effortlessly add real-time effects to tracks, enhancing their sets with just a twist.

Four-Deck Control: The Z1 MK2 can handle up to four decks in Traktor Pro 4, offering DJs the flexibility to expand their performance setups and layer multiple tracks.

Modern Design with Customizable Lighting: The Z1 MK2’s transparent undershell and customizable LED lighting allow DJs to personalize the look of their controller, adding a touch of flair to every performance.

Made with every type of DJ in mind, its straightforward layout includes two-channel volume sliders, a crossfader, a three-band EQ, and dedicated mixer effects controls – all the essentials needed for an effective and engaging DJ performance. Paired with the included Traktor Pro 4, setup is a breeze, allowing users to dive into mixing within minutes.

The Traktor Z1 MK2 offers plug-and-play connectivity, meaning it’s easy to set up and start using right away. Its compact size makes it ideal for DJs who want a highly portable solution for gigs, practice, or mobile performances. Plus, its modular design allows for seamless integration with other Traktor devices, such as the X1 MK3 or F1, to create a more versatile and dynamic DJ setup. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to upgrade your gear, the Traktor Z1 MK2 by Native Instruments offers a powerful, portable, and user-friendly controller to elevate your DJing experience.
