Meet the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ All-in-One DJ System

The system offers club-standard layout and features, built-in Wi-Fi®, multi-device support, and 4-deck playback.

AlphaTheta Corporation has unveiled the XDJ-AZ, an advanced 4-deck all-in-one DJ system designed to deliver a club-standard experience. Building on the success of its predecessor, the XDJ-XZ, this new model offers a significant leap in features and usability. It’s tailored for use in various environments such as clubs, event spaces, studios, or even for DJs on the road, providing a professional-grade setup that promises to elevate your DJ sets.

The XDJ-AZ inherits the layout and feel of two popular devices, the CDJ-3000 multi player and the DJM-A9 mixer, making the transition to club-standard equipment seamless. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi®, DJs can access cloud-based music libraries on-the-go, including Beatport’s extensive catalog. This system supports various types of media, allowing DJs to effortlessly integrate new tracks into their sets while also providing multi-device compatibility.

With a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, the device significantly improves navigation and track selection, displaying up to 13 tracks at once – compared to just 8 on the XDJ-XZ –making the DJing experience even more efficient. In addition to standalone 4-deck playback, the XDJ-AZ can sync with other CDJs using PRO DJ LINK™, enabling smooth transitions and seamless control of the performance.

One of the most notable features of the XDJ-AZ is its integrated SonicLink transmitter, which allows ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring using HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. This innovation gives DJs the freedom to move around the stage or booth without being tethered by cables. SonicLink technology transmits audio 20 times faster than Bluetooth®, making the experience nearly instantaneous.

To top it off, the XDJ-AZ delivers superior sound quality, thanks to a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology. DJs can use the 3Band Master EQ to adjust the output according to the venue’s acoustics, while a dedicated Mixer Settings button provides quick access to the system’s status on-screen.

    Other features

    • Large Performance Pads offer dynamic playability
    • Three USB inputs (two top-loading for USB devices and one laptop connection) for smooth back-to-back performances and DJ handovers
    • Supports Gate Cue mode, where Hot Cues play only while you press the pads
    • Unlocks rekordbox Performance mode – no license needed
    • Compatible with Link Export for rekordbox for Mac/Windows and rekordbox for iOS/Android
    • Compatible with Serato DJ Pro – no license needed (coming December 2024)
    • AlphaTheta Care extended warranty service
