    Fun Facts: Imagine Dragons are currently on their Loom World Tour which will make a stop in their hometown Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. Kygo is amid his 26 world tour dates.

    Purple Disco Machine is the quintessential group representing modern disco music. This song can set the mood for fun beats for dancing.

    Fun Facts: Purple Disco Machine is the stage name of German DJ and music producer Tino Piontek. Purple Disco Machine is currently on tour in European countries. Purple Disco Machine was nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album as a remixer.

     

    Dancing In The Flames

    The Weekend continues his production of upbeat tracks. This song can be played for cocktail hour or early dancing.

    Notable Lyrics: “I can’t wait to see your face / Crash when we’re switchin’ lanes / My love’s beyond the pain / But if I miss the brake / We’re dancin’ in the flames”

    Fun Facts: The Weeknd is finishing his After Hours Til Dawn Tour in Australia in October. The song is the first single from his upcoming sixth studio album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’.

     

    Heart Like Mine

    Sam Feldt feat. Rosa Linn

    A hyped-up electronic song DJs can play for introductions or as a fun dance track.

    Notable Lyrics: “Left no apologies, gotta take all of me / Break me down, but I’ll survive / You can’t tame a heart like mine”

    Fun Facts: The song samples “Clocks” by Coldplay. Feldt is currently touring popular clubs around the world including multiple dates as LIV Beach Las Vegas at the Fontainebleau. Rosa Linn is most known for her 2022 track “Snap”.

     

    Do the Busabus Pt.2

    Busta Rhymes

    A song that was written and produced as a group dance song.

    Notable Lyrics: “When we clap, all y’all freeze. One more clap, do the Bus-A-Bus please / One time, shake it out / Two times, smoke it out / Three times, get crazy with it”

    Fun Facts: Busta Rhymes is not currently on tour but will be performing in Australia for the Promiseland Festival 2024 in early October. Chuck D of Public Enemy gave him the moniker Busta Rhymes, after NFL and CFL wide receiver George “Buster” Rhymes.

     

    Paradise

    A blend of Latin and Hip Hop for a party hit.

    Notable Lyrics: “Feels like paradise / Ocean water coming down your thighs, can you feel me? / Feels like paradise”

    Fun Facts: The collection of superstars performed the song first live at the 2024 MTV VMA Awards. Anitta has been coined as the “Queen of Brazilian Pop”. Fat Joe is one of the owners of Rewind It 10 – a hair care hub for easy, performance-based products designed to fight greys at the root.

    Fun Facts: This is a highly anticipated collaboration of a progressive house anthem. Madison Love is more known for her songwriting abilities for the likes of Ava Max, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Selena Gomez. You can see Alesso live at select dates including Hakkasan in Las Vegas.

     

    Follow The Light

    Armin van Buuren, Hardwell

    If your couple wants an electronic festival vibe for their reception, this dance track hits the mark.

    Notable Lyrics: “I follow the light, I follow the light / I see it in your eyes / I follow the light, I follow the light / To get me through the night”

    Fun Facts: Armin van Buuren and Hardwell first collaborated in 2015 on the track ‘Off the Hook’, which became a global hit with over 100 million streams. Armin van Buuren has many upcoming festival dates and a show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

     

    Thick Of It All

    Alan Walker, Joe Jonas, and Julia Michaels

    A fun sing-along mid-tempo song for cocktail hour.

    Notable Lyrics: “I’ll be there, I’ll be there for you always / Don’t be scared, I’ll be there for you always”

    Fun Facts: Alan Walker has accumulated over 115 million followers on social media, 13 billion views on YouTube, and 80 billion audio and video streams. The Jonas Brothers are currently finishing up their World Tour with European dates.

    Jungle

    Closing out this list with a funky jazz vibe perfect for a fun cocktail hour with modern sounds not on every playlist.

    Notable Lyrics: “Why, why won’t you give me some love now? / Why would you keep me in pain? / Why won’t you give me some of your time? / Why won’t you give it away?”

    Fun Facts: Jungle has select tour dates through October in the U.S. Jungle’s breakout album ‘Volcano’ was released in 2024 with their song “Back On 74” and has amassed nearly 300k streams on Spotify.
