Climb Festival comes to Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5 for a 2-day event with a Renegade NYC popup, including soon-to-be-announced headliner.
Get ready, New York! The North Face is bringing the excitement of the Climb Festival to Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5 for the first time ever. This two-day event, taking place on August 23-24, 2024, is set to be an unforgettable experience for climbing enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike.
The Climb Festival invites participants to test their skills on a challenging 55-foot wall with only deep water below to catch their fall, ensuring a thrilling yet safe experience. The event will be hosted by some of the biggest names in the climbing world, including The North Face athlete Alex Honnold and legendary climber Chris Sharma, who will also have the honor of announcing the winner of this year’s competition.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The festival will feature appearances from other renowned The North Face athletes such as Brooke Raboutou, Nathaniel Coleman, Sam Elias, and many more. These stars of the climbing community will be on hand to share their expertise, inspire attendees, and join in the festivities.
In addition to the climbing challenges, the event will offer a variety of activities designed to celebrate the culture of climbing and foster community spirit. Highlights include engaging panel discussions on building outdoor communities, delicious offerings from local food trucks, and guest bouldering walls hosted by Movement Gyms. The festival will also feature live performances, an artist integration by Snoeman, and energetic DJ sets from Las Flaquitas, Eden, Toribio, and Cosmo (see the event programming, below).
