Tiësto & PROPHECY Drop “My City” via Insomniac Records & Musical Freedom

The international dance music star teams up with Spanish duo PROPHECY for the official EDC Las Vegas 2024 festival anthem.

It’s electric! Tiësto, a global sensation, teams up with the fast-rising duo PROPHECY to release “My City,” the official anthem for EDC Las Vegas 2024. This powerful track available now through Insomniac Records and Tiësto’s own Musical Freedom label, marking a significant addition to the festival’s storied legacy.

For decades, Tiësto has been a cornerstone of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), consistently delivering unforgettable performances that capture the spirit of dance music. His deep connection to EDC and his ability to stay ahead of musical trends have made him a perennial favorite among festival-goers. This year, as anticipation builds for his upcoming set at EDC Las Vegas, Tiësto has been honored with the task of creating the festival’s anthem — a testament to his enduring influence and elite status in the dance music scene.

To bring “My City” to life, Tiësto enlisted the talents of PROPHECY, a dynamic production duo from Barcelona. Known for their prowess in the melodic house and techno genres, PROPHECY has been making significant waves since their debut in 2018. With endorsements from industry giants like John Summit, ARTBAT, and David Guetta, they have quickly risen through the ranks, making them the perfect partners for this high-profile collaboration.

“My City” is a tribute to the sense of pride and loyalty one feels towards their hometown. This dancefloor-ready anthem features commanding vocals that assertively claim the streets, perfectly matched with an electrifying house groove. The track’s buoyant basslines, sharp percussive elements, and electro-tinged arpeggiations create a rhythm that captures the essence of navigating familiar streets.

In addition to being the festival’s anthem, “My City” also holds the prestigious position of leading the ‘EDC Las Vegas 2024’ compilation album. This staggering 90-track collection offers a comprehensive sonic snapshot of this year’s festival, featuring essential tunes from a diverse array of artists. Alongside Tiësto and PROPHECY, the compilation includes tracks from Mau P, Sara Landy, HYPERBEAM (Odd Mob x OMNOM), Seven Lions, Nicole Moudaber, Culture Shock, Virtual Riot, Cristoph, BEC, and many more.

“My City” is more than just a song—it’s an anthemic celebration of the excitement and community spirit that defines EDC Las Vegas. As Tiësto and PROPHECY take center stage, they encapsulate the essence of the festival, creating a track that will undoubtedly become a cherished memory for attendees and a staple in the dance music world. Join us in celebrating EDC Las Vegas 2024 with this electrifying anthem and get ready to dance the night (or weekend Under the Electric Sky) away.
