The Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs) make their return during Miami Music Week on March 22, 2024, at the Eden Roc Hotel.
Miami Beach, Fla. – The Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs), one of the more anticipated events in the world of electronic-dance music, is set to return to South Beach on March 22. This year, the prestigious event, presented by TravelClubIQ, finds a new home at the iconic Eden Roc Hotel.
Renowned for attracting the biggest names in EDM, from DJ/celebs to industry executives, the event has become a beacon for the industry’s most influential figures. The upcoming edition stands as a definitive, star-studded extravaganza, firmly cementing its place as a premier event in the global electronic dance music scene.
“This isn’t your typical suit-and-tie type event – we’re bringing you a red-hot pool party with the industry’s most elite,” says Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, iHeart Radio, National Hall of Fame personality and founder/co-executive producer of the EDMAs. “It’s an event with massive A-list surprise performances along with EDM’s biggest hitmakers accepting their much deserved ‘Deck’ award.”
A new addition to the event this year is a Media Village. The most influential radio stations in the U.S., including personalities from iHeart stations like DJ Prostyle KTU NY, Frankie P Y100 Miami, EJ from KIISFM Los Angeles, Nurotic Club KISSFM Chicago, Nico Q-102 Philly, Brian Fink Evolution and Jerry Houston Pride Radio, and over 15 other stations will be on hand interviewing DJ/artists. Additionally, top-name print, blog and social-media influencers – like DJ LIFE and others – will be in attendance.
The heart of the EDMAs lies in its fan-centric approach to honoring the best in the industry. With a voting process that empowers fans to have their voices heard, the awards resonate deeply with the essence of the EDM community. “These accolades are a huge motivation for me because they mean that the fans genuinely care – they see you, hear you, and enjoy your music, which is the very reason why I do this,” trance music legend Armin van Buuren said at the 2023 event.
