115+ artists will perform on six stages across the 3-day (May 25-27) fest at Hart Plaza with Solomon, Fatboy Slim, Richie Hawtin, and more.

Among the top 20 electronic music festival in the U.S., Movement Music Festival has been a Detroit mainstay and a scene favorite since its inception. This year, Detroit’s Movement Fest has announced the full lineup for its 2024 edition. Featuring over 115 acts, Movement Detroit 2024 is slated to run from May 25-27 at Hart Plaza.

Movement Music Fest ’24 includes headline sets from German-Bosnian superstar DJ and producer Solomun, plus a brand-new show from electronic music innovator Richie Hawtin, both of which join previously announced headliner and music legend, Fatboy Slim.

Detroit’s Movement 2024 boasts an array of talent, from top-tier to up-and-coming breakout acts, including Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Gorgon City (DJ set), Barclay Crenshaw (Claude vonStroke), The Blessed Madonna, Kevin Saunderson b2b Idris Elba, LP Giobbi, James Blake (DJ set), Boys Noize b2b VTSS, Carl Craig (live), Channel Tres (DJ set), Nicole Moudaber, Ludacris, DJ Tennis b2b Gerd Janson, HoneyLuv, I Hate Models, Jayda G, Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Skream, Will Clarke, Coco & Breezy, and many more.

The festival will once again span three days of diverse and meticulous curation on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-27, 2024) inside the picturesque Hart Plaza at downtown Detroit’s riverfront. Since its inception, the event has sought to provide fans with programming that offers a variegated experience of electronic music, ranging from dance music’s most in-demand artists, underground mainstays, and notable first-time performers, a potent cross section of seasoned vets and future generations of electronic music. At its heart, Movement is a reverence for the local roots of the culture, treating Detroit as the Techno mecca it is.

This year’s showcases will include a special 30-year anniversary celebration of Goldie’s legendary Metalheadz Records, Carl’s Craig’s traveling party series Detroit Love in collaboration with the iconic UK house label Defected Records, Masters At Work Present, Kevin Saunderon’s KMS Records, and DJ Minx’s House Your Life. Lineups for the showcases will be announced at a later date.

VIP attendees will be treated to VIP pop-up sets all three days, featuring afrobeats and hip-hop collective HouseParty; Detroit-based house and disco label Rocksteady Disco celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary; plus, dub and reggae collective A Dub Supreme featuring Ranking Gimp and friends.

Movement 2024 3-Day and 1-Day Passes for both GA and VIP – with payment plan options also available – are on sale now at www.movementfestival.com.
