Volaris Debuts “Close To You,” New HORIZN Label With The Circuit Group

Available on Weds., Jan. 17, “Close To You” is the very first release on the brand-new label imprint, HORIZN.

Breakthrough artist Volaris is starting off the new year with a bang as he releases his brand-new single “Close To You” on Wednesday, January 17. The song, which takes listeners on an alluring journey through synth-told stories, sees its official release through Nathan Cozzetto’s – the mastermind behind Volaris – new HORIZN label imprint, in partnership with The Circuit Group.

Coming in at just under six minutes, the track showcases Volaris’ signature style – a fusion of scintillating synths flanked with raw energy that has become a true sonic trademark for the rising star. The original mix of “Close To You” will be followed by a Simon Doty remix on February 15 via HORIZN.

“HORIZN is a platform to push boundaries and redefine the melodic house and techno experience. ‘Close To You’ is about making the most of each day and realizing one of the most important things in life is the connection with others: family, friends, and the music community.” – Volaris

Echoing the pioneering spirit of his music, Volaris takes a monumental leap into uncharted territory with the launch of his musical brainchild, HORIZN, a new joint venture between Volaris and newly formed industry powerhouse The Circuit Group. Circuit boasts master & publishing rights to over 3000 songs, totaling more than 5 billion combined streams and 8 GRAMMY nominations. Their roster includes Chris Lake, deadmau5, Camden Cox, FISHER, HoneyLuv, NERO, Ninajirachi, and many more. More than just a label, HORIZN is a sonic realm where boundaries are shattered, and artistic freedom reigns supreme.

In conjunction with the release of “Close To You,” Volaris has announced a special live stream event in February, taking place at Defected Records’ London event space. The live stream will serve as a fundraiser for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, the medical institution that played a crucial role in Volaris’ personal battle against cancer. “It was really important for me to use this label as a vehicle to give back to those that have helped me and many others through the darkest times,” said Volaris.

Dean Wilson, CEO of The Circuit Group and deadmau5 business partner added: “We’re delighted to have Volaris join the growing Circuit family. His undeniable talents as both a producer and performer were cemented in 2023, and continuing that growth building in-partnership for 2024 and beyond is an extremely exciting prospect for us all… it’s the definition of what The Circuit Group represents: working together to support and nurture outstanding talent, giving them the tools and resources they need to succeed at the highest levels.”
