THE EDIT Studio @ DJX: Set to Spark Innovation

(November 28, 2023 — Oyster Bay, N.Y.) — DJX announces its newest initiative, THE EDIT Studio @ DJX, a “strategic showcase” featuring products designed for today’s content creator. Leveraging the success of ‘23’s show, THE EDIT will launch at DJX ’24.

THE EDIT will serve as an “industry hub” for attendees to learn the art of recording, editing, music production, branding, and content creation. Participating brands will be able to tap into the vast potential of DJX’s highly targeted audience, a virtual “distribution army” of DJs, remixers, and content creators. THE EDIT addresses the current needs of its attendees and opens doors to an additional audience, extending to podcasters and gamers, broadening DJX’s reach, influence, and buying power.

A World of Content & Creativity

Produced by DJ LIFE Magazine and The Hazan Media Group (HMG), DJX ’24 is set to run Aug. 5-8 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Situated on its exhibit floor, THE EDIT is designed to showcase cutting-edge products and education on techniques in music editing, remixing, recording, producing, content creation, and even launching your own label.

The Crossroad to the Future of Music

Crafted for inspiration, education, networking, and increasing growth opportunities for DJX’s expanding and diversified community, THE EDIT provides a home for experienced content creators and those first entering the industry. Focusing on the explosive category of studio-related products, from Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) to furniture and everything in between, THE EDIT is the de-facto hub for industry evolution.

    Immersive Experiential Activation

THE EDIT will offer exclusive, experiential brand activations sponsoring the build of an onsite studio at DJX ’24. In addition to showcasing products in a turnkey presentation on the show floor, sponsoring brands will host seminars, workshops, and product tutorials inside THE EDIT Studio granting access to a highly engaged audience seeking the latest and greatest in studio innovation.

    An Elevated Neighborhood

Brands approved to participate in THE EDIT’s elevated, pre-furnished showcase centrally located on the DJX show floor, will be supported by robust marketing campaigns ensuring maximum visibility.

“With THE EDIT Studio, DJX is expanding for a community that’s growing,” says Shawn Hazan, CEO of Hazan Media Group. “It’s offering a unique opportunity to all those participating in music production, performance, content creation and more – whether you’re a manufacturer or a consumer. In doing so, we’re helping define a new audience, which takes us back to the show’s roots and a time when DJX/DJ Expo cast the very first spotlight on the DJ market.”

“As always, the industry continues to evolve and DJX always evolves with it,” says Jim Tremayne, Editor of DJ LIFE Magazine. “DJs have been making music forever and, especially since Covid, they’re really leaned into the content-creation side. We’re happy to say that THE EDIT Studio at DJX will reflect where the market and culture continue to lead us.”
