NGHTMRE & Rezz Release “All Night” (ft. DeathbyRomy)

The early NGHTMRE demo turned into a collab with Rezz – “All Night” is out now on Gud Vibrations & HypnoVizion.

What began with NGHTMRE as a writing idea while on the road during his DRMVRSE live show turned into an early demo. Drawing inspiration from Rezz, NGHTMRE then sent it to her – and she was immediately intrigued. Fast forward to today, the anticipated collaboration, “All Night,” featuring DeathbyRomy, is available now through Gud Vibrations & HypnoVizion, HERE.

NGHTMRE pushes the limits of his creative boundaries on “All Night,” pulling inspiration from the hypnotizing Rezz. “All Night” serpentines through haunting builds and riveting mid-tempo drops while possessing the energy of psychological thriller. Equipped with entrancing vocals from DeathbyRomy, the song tells a dark and disorienting tale through its distorted basslines and meddling melodies.

“I originally started writing this idea as a part of the DRMVRSE live show. I don’t often make mid-tempo style dance tunes but I was really inspired by Rezz’s style and felt it created a really unique switch-up for the audience during the show. The first drop went over so well in my sets, I felt I had to release it. I eventually got the incredible vocal idea from Romy and sent the rough idea to Rezzas a collab idea. She loved it and immediately took the track to another level with the second drop and finalized the arrangement. Together, we dialed in all the final details and everything came together perfectly in the end. So stoked to share this one with the world!” -NGHTMRE

“NGHTMRE sent over the early demo of this track and I immediately was intrigued. I hopped on it ASAP and we finished the track together. Romy snapped on the vocals and I think this is a really awesome song.” – Rezz

“When I was writing ‘All Night’, I was painting the fever dream that is “the nightclub”. The tripped out feeling of making eye contact with yourself in the mirror when you drop the masked smile and realize you’re too drunk. The glimmer of the night suddenly shattered and all the noise and lights becoming too much. The DJs suddenly playing something equally familiar and terrifying, and you think you’re gonna be sick. This song is just a peek into one of the strange trips/nightmares many of us have found ourselves in, but ‘All Night’ is sexy and terrifying all at once.” – DeathbyRomy

This year has seen massive strides for both artists. NGHTMRE released the deluxe edition of his debut album DRMVRSE, along with his collaborative GIGANTIC NGHTMRE EP with Big Gigantic and launched his imaginative The Great Sonic Wars Tour, which saw nightly B2B headline performances. This year also saw Rezz drop her goth-themed IT’S NOT A PHASE EP and “Infraliminal” collaboration with deadmau5, and return to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre for her fifth annual sold-out two-night headline run.

Based on their hit collaboration ‘Gud Vibrations’, best friends SLANDER and NGHTMRE decided to build a cultural brand together, supporting good music, good friendships, and gud vibes. In 2018, the group evolved their brand into a record label with releases from SLANDER, NGHTMRE, SVDDEN DEATH, Wavedash, Habstrakt, Shadient and more focusing on pushing the boundaries of bass music.

Launched in October 2022, HypnoVizion is the brainchild of iconic electronic producer/DJ Rezz. Since its inception, HypnoVizion has quickly garnered a reputation with its innovative and forward-thinking bass-heavy releases, including Rezz’s goth-inspired IT’S NOT A PHASE EP. A curator of dark, otherworldly sounds much akin to Rezz’s own style, HypnoVizion is leading a vocally led bass movement, having featured the likes of Lights, Alice Glass, Grabbitz, Lucille Croft, Wreckno, and more. This year, HypnoVizion also hosted curated events, like FrostVizion at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater and a pop-up ahead of REZZ ROCKS V at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater.
