On June 30th, Jordan John released his debut album, Who Is Jordan John, on Steve Lawler’s eVIVE imprint.

Who Is Jordan John? That’s the debut album from the Toronto-based, Swiss-Caribbean DJ & producer Jordan John. As one of the most exciting acts to breakout onto the scene, Jordan John is a unique artist who fuses elements of melodic techno with distinctive tribal and Afro house influences.

Jordan John showcases his Afro-melodic musical styling on his ambitious debut artist album. Seeing its official release on June 30 through Steve Lawler’s iconic eVIVE label, the LP mentally transports listeners to the eternal summer atmosphere found in Bali, Tulum, Ibiza, and even Burning Man. The focus track from the LP, “Memory,” is a standout among a collection of well-polished original productions.

“I signed this immediately upon hearing the whole album, such an incredible piece of work, the production on this record is of the highest level. Jordan John is going to be a name to watch out for! I’m extremely happy I can put this record out on my eVIVE Recordings” -Steve Lawler

With releases out or upcoming on labels such as Mo Black, eVIVE/Armada, Einmuzika, Go Diva, Yoshitoshi, Sneja and more, Jordan John has collaborated with some other serious talent, including Space Motion, Black Motion, Tom & Collins, Roland Clark, and Dark Side Vinyl. Over a short period of time, Jordan John has received DJ support from Bedouin, Solomun, Damian Lazarus, Black Coffee, Amémé, BLOND:ish, Steve Lawler, and more.
