Alesso & Ty Dolla $ign Drop New Collab, “Caught a Body”

“Caught a Body” is the brand-new single from Alesso & Ty Dolla $ign, available everywhere on Friday, April 7 through Geffen Records.

Making his debut on 10:22PM/Geffen Records, Alesso delivers his latest single, “Caught a Body,” alongside Ty Dolla $ign. Available on Friday, April 7, “Caught a Body” originally made its debut when Alesso opened the Ultra Music Festival MainStage at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami less than two weeks ago. The global superstar rocked the Ultra MainStage with a VIP mix of “Caught a Body,” which had the sold-out crowd on their toes from the very start of his set.

“Caught a Body” showcases a bruising percussion coupled with an alluring production, all while serving up a taste of 90s house music. Putting aside the fact that the single marks Alesso’s debut with Interscope’s Geffen Records imprint, there’s no denying “Caught a Body” makes a bold statement for both acclaimed artists.

Prior to “Caught a Body,” Alesso has boasted monstrous collaborations with the likes of Katy Perry (“When I’m Gone”), Zara Larsson (“Words”), Tove Lo (“Heroes (we could be)”), OneRepublic (“If I Lose Myself”), Calvin Harris ft. Hurts (“Under Control”), Armin van Buuren (“Leave A Little Love”), Sebastian Ingrosso & Ryan Tedder (“Calling (Lose My Mind)”), Matthew Koma (“Years”), Deniz Koyu (“In My Feelings”), DubVision (“One Last Time”), Charlotte Lawrence (“THE END”), Anitta (“Is That For Me”), Marshmello ft. James Bay (“Chasing Stars”), Liam Payne (“Midnight”), Hailee Steinfeld with Florida Georgia Line & WATT (“Let Me Go”), and many, more.

“This song has been a favorite of mine for the past few months” says Alesso on the record. “It’s something new for me and my sound which is exciting! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”

Watch Alesso’s Ultra Music Festival MainStage set from Miami:

When it comes to collaborations, Ty Dolla $ign is a go-to for many artists. Prior to his collab with Alesso, Ty Dolla $ign has previously joined forces with Swedish House Mafia with 070 Shake (“Lifetime”), Ariana Grande (“safety net”), Kid Cudi (“Willing To Trust”), SG Lewis with Lucky Daye (“Vibe Like This”), Kanye West with FKA twigs & Skrillex (“Ego Death”), B.o.B (“Paranoid”), Future & Rae Sremmurd (“Blasé”), Khalid & 6LACK (“OTW”), Wiz Khalifa (“Sitting Pretty”), Jeremih (“Impatient”), Bebe Rexha (“Bad Bitch”), Fetty Wap (“When I See Ya”), Post Malone (“Spicy”), Mustard ft. Lil Durk (“My Friends), Megan Thee Stallion & Nicki Minaj (“Hot Girl Summer”), Lil Wayne with Imagine Dragons & X Ambassadors (“Sucker for Pain”), Lil Wayne & XXXTENTACION (“Scared of the Dark”), Drake (“After Dark”, “Get Along Better”), H.E.R. (“Back of My Mind”), SZA with Pharrell Williams/The Neptunes (“Hit Different”), Vince Staples (“LEMONADE”), and Tyler, The Creator (“WUSYANAME”), among many others.

“My boy Alesso is one of the biggest DJs in the world so I’m honored that he asked me to be a part of this song. We definitely made some party shit for the summer!” – Ty Dolla $ign
