Were you hoping for a miracle? No worries, because it’s time to kick the BPM into high gear, as Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding have reunited for their latest collaboration, “Miracle.” The nostalgic new original is available now (Friday, March 10, 2023) through Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited.
“Miracle” is a rave-ready tune that encompasses several genre influences, including trance, house, psy, and even future rave. Serving up tones reminiscent of the 90s and 2000s, Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding look to the future with “Miracle,” all while showcasing some of the best elements of the past. The pair are no strangers to working together, in fact they first collaborated on the EDM smash “I Need Your Love,” which was included on Calvin’s 2012 album 18 Months, in addition to the wildly successful “Outside,” taken from his 2014 LP, Motion.
Calvin Harris has been teasing the track on social media and playing it within his live sets for a while. In a video posted to his Instagram four days ago, Calvin is playing “Miracle” live from Ultra Abu Dhabi — and the crowd is absolutely responding massively to the throwback-sounding banger. Several of his fellow DJ friends and peers took to the comments to show their support and admiration for the record and latest collab from Calvin & Ellie, including Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Sandro Silva, and Maddix, among others.
