At the heart of today’s launch (June 11) is the ANX4 Scalable Wireless Receiver, a first-of-its-kind single-unit solution.
Shure has announced a major evolution in its wireless audio ecosystem today (June 11). The renowned brand is introducing products designed to offer unmatched scalability, flexibility, and power for professionals who demand more from their gear. At the heart of today’s launch is the ANX4 Scalable Wireless Receiver, a single-unit solution that can support up to 16 channels of Axient Digital or 24 channels of ULX-D, making it the first of its kind to offer such channel scalability through licensing.
Available this fall, the ANX4 is a space-saving, cost-efficient solution for high-channel-count productions. With enhanced connectivity options and support for multiple frequency bands, it’s ideal for rental houses, touring productions, and large-scale installations.
Shure is also introducing a firmware update for Axient Digital PSM, allowing users to expand their stereo audio channels and unlock Standard Transmission Mode, enabling longer-distance wireless transmission. This makes it easier than ever to tailor a system’s capabilities without additional hardware – all you have to do is add a license via ShureCloud.
Additionally, the ULX-D Wide Tuning System is getting a major upgrade. New transmitters and receivers will support broader frequency ranges (up to 166 MHz in some regions), maximizing usability across different geographic areas while maintaining full compatibility with legacy ULX-D gear.
These updates solidify Shure’s position as a leader in future-ready wireless solutions. Whether it’s expanding existing systems or streamlining complex productions, these new innovations are all about giving professionals more power – and even more options – than ever before.
